Rita Mizrahi Shamie is an extraordinary talent and it has been my pleasure to be the recipient of her art. My grandchildren are great and loyal fans. The Infant will not go to sleep without "Grandma Rita" crooning softly on the CD player. And my older grandson (age 6), enjoys the patriotic songs, as well as her Grandma Rita Songbooks.
I find her adult music "My Romance", and "The Best of Broadway" a wonderful escape and antidote to what passes for "music" today.
It is true that one artist can please both the child and the adult. That talented artist is Rita Mizrahi Shamie. The entertainment she provides is definitely worth the price of the CD.

The article caught my attention because my own "Grandma Rita" passed away not too long ago. When I visited the web and saw the list of songs, it made me cry. My Grandma Rita and I use to watch musicals like Sound of Music and Annie together. Songs from these musicals are included on the CD. Now, I can use this CD as a way to keep my Grandma Rita's memory alive with my infant son. I couldn't wait to get it in the mail.

Your family has to be the luckiest people on earth. I wish my Dad had recorded a few songs before he left us. He loved many of the oldies that you sing, & loved the same kind soft easy to listen to voice that you have. I thought a story about our family was great, but yours way out does that, so please, please. keep on singing!
